Another successful outreach campaign at Lanterman RC’s SDP Resource Fair! Thanks to all those who showed up! We were especially thrilled to see current and potential clients and connections!

Such a fun day at the Learn and Grow family fair at the District at Tustin Legacy! We gave out lots of prizes and got to connect with like-minded people! We can’t wait to serve the OC community very soon!

It was an incredible honor to be invited to give a talk on my latest research at INSAR (International Society for Autism Research)!! I presented my research on the role of early learning environment on the long-term cognitive outcomes for autistic children.

Long story short, I found that if autistic children are provided with socially enriched learning environment prior to school age, the benefits are slower to notice but much longer lasting than the general sample!

I am also thrilled to bring back the new knowledge shared by renowned researchers around the world at INSAR to my own practice!

We are now contracted with CalOptima, the largest Medi-Cal network in Orange County! We are excited to have the opportunity to extend our reach and to serve the community. 🎉🙌🙏🙏

제가 아주 많이 받아 본 질문 중 하나 입니다.
좀 기다려 보면 나아지지 않을까요?
그냥 발달이 조금 늦은 거 아닐까요?
남자아이는 원래 좀 늦지 않나요?
제가 유난인거 아닐까요?

그럴수도 있어요. 그냥 발달이 조금 늦는 거일 수도, 조금 기다려 보면 나아 질 수도 있죠. 하지만 그렇지 않을 가능성도 크죠.

그렇지 않을 경우, 이런 저런 이유로 기다리다 조기개입의 골든타임을 놓칠 수도 있겠죠.

이런 이유로 American Academy of Pediatrics 에서는 모든 18-24개월 아동들에게 자폐 스크리닝을 권장 해요. 발달 지연이 있던 없던 상관 없이요.
